What Makes Tiny Table Tours Different?
- 1 -
we’ve got the best
guides in town
Our tours are led by chefs, food journalists, cooks and restaurant professionals who know and love Philly’s restaurant scene.
- 2 -
WE EAT OFF
THE BEATEN PATH
From the Italian Market to Fishtown, we focus on independent, local spots that reflect the city’s unique food culture. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, we’ll take you places that feel like a discovery.
- 3 -
small group sizes
= better tours
Our tours are intentionally small, so you can actually connect with your guide, the businesses, and the people you’re exploring with.
- 4 -
no scripts,
just strong ties
Our tours are designed by one of Philly’s top food journalists, so we know all the chefs, bakers, and owners across the city. That means exclusive access, off-menu tastings, and stories you won’t hear anywhere else.
Your Questions, Answered

Each tour includes multiple food and/or drink stops (typically 3–6), generous tastings at each, and a guided walking experience led by a restaurant professional. You’ll visit a mix of food businesses like restaurants, wine bars and bakeries, with stories and context you wouldn’t get on your own.

Our tours are led by people who actually work in restaurants, and they’re built on real relationships with the city’s food community. They’re also designed by owner-operator Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé, a local food journalist who has spent much of her career writing about Philly’s restaurants. That means better food, more access, and a perspective you won’t get on a standard scripted tour.
-
Both! We’re proud that many of our guests are locals who are surprised and delighted by how much they learn about neighborhoods they’ve visited many times. Even if you know the area, the behind-the-scenes access we offer can change how you experience Philadelphia.
-
We keep our groups small (typically around 8–12 guests) so the experience stays personal and flexible. It’s like hanging out with a friend who happens to know a ton about Philly and its restaurant scene.

Yes, advance booking is strongly recommended, and many tours sell out. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reserve early.
