Cocktail Crawl with Brandon Thrash of Middle Child Clubhouse

On December 9th, 2023, join Middle Child Clubhouse’s Brandon Thrash and Tiny Table Tours’ Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé for a new-school look at Philadelphia’s cocktail history, presented in collaboration with W Philadelphia. Spend the afternoon in Center City with Brandon and Maddy, visiting some of the city’s very best cocktail bars, learning from the bartenders themselves about what defines Philadelphia’s drinking culture, and having some very good drinks along the way.

We’ll meet at 2:30pm on December 9th in Rittenhouse Square where we’ll make introductions and pass out some swag (think tote bags, drinking snacks — maybe even a flask filled with Brandon’s favorite walking cocktail.) Then we’ll work our way from a.bar to Franklin Mortgage, and over to My Loup, before wrapping in Stevens’ Prophecy, a speakeasy hidden behind W Philadelphia’s Living Room bar. 

At each bar, we’ll have the undivided attention of the city’s top bartenders, who will make us some of their favorite cocktails, share stories and bartending tips, and give us the chance to see what happens before they open for Saturday night service. You’ll get a sense of why the city’s cocktail scene has evolved the way it has, and you’ll walk away with a renewed sense of why Philly is such a special town. Back at the W, we’ll snack, chat, and sip another round while Brandon gives a quick cocktail presentation and shares his recipe for the ultimate holiday beverage. 

The tour is limited to just ten guests to insure an intimate group experience. We’re unable to accommodate dietary restrictions for this tour. Tickets are nonrefundable and the tour will run rain or shine.
